Can I just say how happy I am that decent pictures came out of that Boracay trip? And yes, I know my backlog. I’m working on it, promise!
Anyway, days leading to the Boracay weekend, I explored the grapefruit diet. Well, a part of it at least. I’ve never been a fan of fad diets but I know someone who lost weight following the diet strictly. So what I did was at least drink a glass of grapefruit juice before breakfast and before dinner.
Lo and behold, I think it kind of worked. For some reason, even after eating more than what I usually eat, and maintaining my normal physical activities, I felt lighter. Maybe it’s just a placebo effect, but I really felt lighter. I know for sure I won’t be able to sustain it though. Grapefruit juice reminds me of the aftertaste one gets when one vomits. Bleeeeech.
