Boracay 2011: Prelude

The cure for anything is salt water – sweat, tears, or the sea.” – Isak Dinesen

Boracay Island, Western Visayas, Philippines.

And what do you know? The Boracay sweat, tears and sea cured indeed.

The Philippine Independence Day weekend at the island was nothing short of epic: it shall now forever be remembered as my “awesomest” celebration of the holiday to date. But then again, there’s a lot more to that trip than the aforementioned event. It was about personal freedom as well.

As early as now, one thing is for sure: we will be back.

Gorgeous.
