The WBW Project Week 6: Of breaking barriers, comebacks and another challenge

After last week’s debacle, I was hell bent on getting back on track.
Thing is, I was still recovering from that 16K run (I know, I know. Two-week recovery? Damn…). For a good part of this past week, my right foot has been sprained so bad that even the simple task of walking was difficult. Read: lighter work-out sessions. Not. Good.
On top of that, I had a depression-driven Stackers dinner last Tuesday, Le Ching and Figaro night out with Nikki and Tina (Thanks for introducing me to the vanilla pudding by the way…) at the UP Ayala Technohub last Saturday and of course, last night’s steak extravaganza.
Again. Not good.
So you can just imagine how (pleasantly) surprised I was after weighing in at the gym…

Week 6 (February 15, 2011, Tuesday)
So let me just gush over this for a while. I’m below 160 lbs., I’ve registered the biggest weight loss for Project WBW to date AND I’m back to my day 1 waistline. Woot!
Note to self: time to get serious. Really, really, REALLY serious. I remember a few years back, this was the zone where I struggled the most. The 150 to 160 pound zone, I mean. If the first seven pounds was a struggle, I’m expecting this next ten to be a more formidable challenge.
Now excuse me as I need to get back to what I’m currently reading…
